Samrudhi is also a vital liaison between our Client and Development teams to gather and process necessary product information on behalf of customers.

Let’s get to know Samrudhi and discover what makes her one of #TeamTango’s best and brightest.

What do you enjoy most about working at Tango?

“Great employees make a great workplace,” and the best part about working at Tango is the people. Everyone comes from a different background and has a unique skill set. Each day I learn something new while working with my team-mates. I find myself being constantly challenged with new tasks and my manager, Jason, always motivates me to do my best each day.

You helped create the Culture Committee at Tango – how has that experience been?

In 2019, we not only saw a significant increase in the quality and quantity of the projects we implemented but also in the number of new hires who joined us at Tango. With more people working from our office in Dallas, we knew that we needed to work a little more on our employee engagement activities. With colleagues, Josh, Krupali and Zulema – and the great support of our leadership team – we were able to plan a lot of activities and nonprofit initiatives for the team last year and we look forward to more in 2020.

What’s the last movie or television show you’ve seen that you enjoyed?

Money Heist! It’s a show on Netflix about a team of people trying to pull off the biggest heist in history. The acting and the plot are excellent.

If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?

I have always been someone who loves stargazing. It makes me feel peaceful and clears my mind. If there is one place I want to go to, it would be Fairbanks, Alaska – to see the Northern Lights.

What inspired your career in data analytics?

The reason I love mathematics is that it always makes me think outside the box – data analytics is something that does the same for me. I started solving math problems at a very young age and would sometimes accompany my mother, a schoolteacher, to school on Saturdays to teach the kids some tricks to solve complex problems.  I always find myself looking at all possible solutions to solve an issue and I love the satisfaction I get from being able to debug a problem.

What’s your alma mater(s)?

I earned my BE in Electronics and Telecommunications at the University of Mumbai. Then, I got my MS in IT and Management from the University of Texas at Dallas – go Comets!

We hope you’ve enjoyed getting to know Samrudhi, one of #TeamTango’s world-class professionals. For more Tango content, check out our blog, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook pages.
